I enjoy cooking and especially baking! Here are some of the recipes that I've collected and keep coming back to. All of these come from somewhere else, links back to the original have been included where possible, but I have made some changes or clarifications or abbreviations from the original source where appropriate. A basic level of cooking knowledge is assumed, there aren't tutorial on techniques or how this recipe changed my entire outlook on life. That being said there are notes on additions or modifications from the base recipe that have worked out well (or didn't work and should be avoided).

• Beer braised short ribs - Similar to a common wine braised short ribs, but with beer!

• Beijing Beef - A copy of the Panda Express dish

• Biscochitos - A New Mexico classic, think cinnamon sugar shortbread but better

• Buttermilk Biscuits - Your basic buttermilk biscuit recipe.

• Caramelized Onion Quiche - A typical quiche, but with a bunch of yummy onions!

• Cheese Coins - Homemade cheese crackers, with lots of possible variations

• Chipotle Cherry Cobbler - A very cherry dessert with a bit of a kick!

• Cider Braised Pork - A nice braising recipe with a fall-ish twist

• Cranberry Almond Tart - A sweet almond tart topped with cranberries.

• Cranberry Apple Sauce (a.k.a. Crapple Sauce) - A basic apple sauce recipe with some cranberries thrown in for some holiday cheer.

• Egg Drop Soup - A simple soup with vegetables, chicken broth, and eggs

• Fudge - Simple candy recipe from the back of the jar

• Gingerbread Biscotti - Gingerbread flavor in the form of a biscotti

• Ice Cream Base - No-frills starting point for homemade ice cream

• Peter Reinhart's Bagels - Great but non-trivial bagel recipe, not for the faint of heart

• Pie Dough - A flaky all butter pie dough

• Polar Bear Paws - A easy modification on chocolate turtles

• Salted Caramels - Home made caramels, soft and chewy and sweet! And maybe a bit salty.

• Tri-tip dry rub - Classic Santa Maria BBQ style dry rub

• Turkey Verde Soup - Have a lot of leftover turkey? Try this soup!

• Yule Log - It's a cake that looks like a piece of wood, what else can I say?
